Some days ago I posted this Weegee related artowork.

Like the title says it was made for Super Smash Bros Crusade's classic mode art contest. Specifically for Weegee's classic mode.

The game got an update a day or so ago and I was one of the winners of the art contest! Now my art is stuck in that game.

My stupid dumb dumb submission for Clocks Of The BBS 2024. Black Sausage Clock!

I've fallen back to my old habit of starting way too many drawings.

Currently I have that builder Lily drawing that I started months ago, NG movie collab submission and a submission to Super Smash Bros Crusade's art competition to get a drawing to the game, all in the works at the same time. I just can't focus on one drawing it seems.

Pretty sure the order of the drawings being finished is

1. SSBC submission (because that is in a bit of a hurry)
2. Builder Lily (because that is shaded a good way)
3. Movie collab submission (because I'm just waiting to get more news about the collab)

Oh yeah and I'm still making the last cutscene for Painter Blazer.

Not really complaining but I should probably focus on one drawing at a time.

College has started and I got a job now.

I applied for a job last spring and got one. I only had like 4 shifts during the whole spring and half of summer break. Now the job has properly started for me so I have more shifts. College also continued this week so I have to do that too which means I won't have many days that are fully off. For example weekdays doing college and then weekends going to work (not always the case though). It will stagnate my own projects to some degree sadly but it is what it is and now I have an income.

Having an income means I can pay for supporter hell yeah.

Just wanted to say this publicly.

I was held at gun point to make this today by @BroSkullEmoji so guess I'll make it today.

Final boss is finished.

That means every single level from hub world to final boss has been finished. So pretty much the game part of the game is done.

A bunch of polishing has been made which a bunch were for the audio side. No more overly loud footsteps or sound effects cutting off randomly. Some also were to the level design like world 1 boss which was kinda dumb before.

So far only one cutscenes is to be made for the game so there isn't much on that side either.

Game over screen.

So I may have forgotten to make a game over screen until I finished the final boss so whoops. But I did make one and here you can see it. Yes that is confetti coming out of Blazer. It was a silly idea from @LowresCryptid (playtester for the game).

There isn't much left to make for the game. Polishing and saving are the most important things on my list as of now. I have some ideas for a few fun little features like more borders, CRT filter and Newgrounds Medals. I'm not promising any of these features but I'll at least try to make them.

SAGE 2024 demo.

Do not forget that Painter Blazer will have a demo in this year's Sonic Amateur Game Expo (SAGE). It has been finished for public release when SAGE happens from 6th of September to 13th of September. Be sure to participate in the SAGE!

A poster for it that I made a while ago.

That's right we are bringing this game back!!! Now it's called Painter Blazer Repainted. It is built from the ground up to be extremely close to the source material seen in the teasers and trailers. We are getting this game!

I went to Greece for a week last week and came home on Tuesday at 8 am. It was a nice trip. I went to Nydri Lefkada to be more specific. A nice little place. Apparently it hasn't been this hot there since the 1960's so you can guess how hot it felt to someone who lives in Finland where the avarage summer weather is +20°C. It was closer to +40°C there.
